ATTN ADVANCED OPERATORS: Tracks 1–14 are paid technical and clinical assignments. On W-2 seats, federal law requires Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification): Section 1 no later than your first day of work for pay, the employer's Section 2 within three business days. Bring identity and work-authorisation documents on day one; you choose which documents from the USCIS list to present. All individuals authorised to work in the United States are eligible regardless of citizenship status or national origin.

No advanced technical certifications required.

Volunteer ground searchers serve as crucial helpers, not advanced operators: base-camp logistics, staging, line and grid searches, hasty ground sweeps under a sheriff's SAR posse, CERT unit or Civil Air Patrol ground team. A background check, the free FEMA ICS courses and a CPR card make you deployable. Give back to the community and boost community morale with our support.
